Sucker-Hole (n.) a break in clouds or weather that may “sucker” one into thinking that conditions have changed for the better and that various weather related attire or gear may be unnecessary. Sucker-holes vary widely in their inverse-intensity; in the PNW sucker-holes bring a transient twinkle to all the drizzle covered surfaces and the occasional rainbow.
